In the segment MobilTech Gruschwitz develops technical threads and yarns for automotive, shipbuilding, train and aircraft construction as well as for space travel.

Technical textiles are increasingly taking on functions in the mobility sector that used to be fulfilled by plastics. They offer advantages in manufacturing, design, functionality and recycling and are indispensable in lightweight construction – for example in car roofs, airbags, body parts or control elements.

Product example: Coated and uncoated aramid yarns from Gruschwitz reinforce turbocharger hoses for combustion engines. With customer-specific twisted designs, we create the basis for close cooperation with the automotive and transport industries.
